A playout
system for radio broadcasters, bedroom DJs and anyone who needs a
reliable and flexible way to play songs, jingles, adverts in an
automated or live-assist form. Most of the “modules” are re-sizable so
you can create a layout that suits your tastes and requirements.
Easy to Use and Flexible
Each player is designed to interface to a fader on your mixer – you can assign players to the same channel if your wish and one of the most powerful audio features of JockMaster is the ability to overlap audio on a single player. This means that you can issue a start/next command on Live-Assist Player 1 whilst using Player 2 to overlay a dry liner. The same applies to the advert and jingle modules – Play a weather bed on the Jingle module: pressing Play again will start the next item in the list whilst executing a fadeout on the current item.

The audio
you play from JockMaster can be MP2/MP3 or linear WAV – you can drag
‘n’ drop from an explorer window, the built-in file browser or load a
standard M3U playlist. When using the built-in database on the
Professional Licence, you may import a CSV-style playlist from a
professional scheduler such as Music1, Natural Music or Powergold. One
of the main benefits that JockMaster has to offer is the flexible GUI
(graphical user interface) – this means that nearly all of the “modules”
can be positioned and sized according to your needs/tastes.
Various
shortcut keys are offered as well as comprehensive remote-starts via
game port and USB I/O devices. You will also be able to manage the
database from JockMaster or use Meridian, which will offer many library
and tagging functions as well as a fully-featured music scheduler.
